I am so glad that this life is not lose-lose. So many times in my life today I have been in lose-lose situation. I feel like i am in between a rock and a hard place. No matter what I do I cannot win. I feel like i am always in this spot with my wife when it comes to work. I feel like i am always in this spot when it comes to my basketball team and the institution that i work for. For example, my basketball players are idiots. They have so much potiential and talent that God has gifted them with and they insist on pissing it down the drain. They do very dumb things and get themselves into trouble. It makes me look bad and at the same time kills the rest of the team. I want to support them and give mercy but at the same time I work for a school (cuture) that doesnt tolerate idoits. (Totally get it). They deserve the consequences that they are getting. One of the guys leaves \”Old School\” Playing in his room after he leaves from practice. Every wednesday there are room checks and the RD goes through all the rooms. AHHHHHHH!!!!! Why can\’t I have everything go right!?!?! Sorry burst of frustration.
This is actually encouraging in the outcome. As sucky as the first part of this sounds there is encouragement. Thank God there is encouragement. I think alot of our lives we feel this overwhelming feeling of defeat. There is an ultimate victor!! When in come to eternity there is not a lose-lose situation. Its a win-lose. And the choice is mine, was mine. I choose to win!
Luke 7:50 (NIV)Jesus said to the woman, \”Your faith has saved you; go in peace.\”
Now there are probably a ton of verses that show how we have a choice and that we can win in the end. He is the ultimate victor and there is a way out of the rock and hard place. He kicks the rock out of there! Grabs my hand and helps me up on my feet.
This can also be related to the Egyptians in the OT. They were in the worst position ever…
Exodus 1:11-14 (NIV)So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. [12] But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites [13] and worked them ruthlessly. [14] They made their lives bitter with hard labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their hard labor the Egyptians used them ruthlessly.
Even with the all of this hardship God prepared a way out. HE always will. I know this was kind of a short one but i was interrupted and lost my train of thought. God you are awesome and i thank you for your love for me
Haha smh, some of my guys are just idiots!!
